Campus Tour
Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy is situated in the former Boalsburg Elementary/Harris Township High School. Renovations were completed late in the summer of 2011 that saw the completion of many additions/enhancements of the property which will help ensure that the Boalsburg location serves as Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy's home for many years to come.
Some of the renovations of the school, built in 1936, included a:
- Chapel
- New science classroom and biology/chemistry labs
- Library/knowledge center
- Student Union
- Nurse's suite
- New building entrance
Student lockers, new windows and air conditioning were also installed in the building, while new sidewalks and landscaping were installed outside. The building is ADA compliant and is equipped to enable students, faculty and administrators to take advantage of the latest wireless technology.
Future expansion plans call for the construction of a gymnasium with locker rooms, a weight room and concession stands; additional classrooms; and administrative offices on the six-acre property. Saint Joseph's will make the gymnasium available for community use.
Our Capital Campaign is being used to fund our new "home" as well as many other critical initiatives.
