Technology

Technology is totally integrated into the curriculum at SJCA. The facility offers a wireless environment with a secured network. Students are expected to be computer literate and able to interact electronically with the faculty. Their abilities and skills will be documented during orientation sessions for newly enrolled students.

Offerings in the Technology curriculum include:

• TV & Video Production
• Microcomputer Technology
• Effective Website Design
• Introduction to Computer Science
• Artificial Intelligence
• Linear Systems & Optimization

Record-keeping functions related to grades, attendance, etc. will be accomplished through electronic means. Students will regularly be required to submit assignments electronically and will receive communications in that way. Instruction will include electronic presentations and implementation when practical and appropriate.
